Inspired Repertoire: Inspiring Teaching

Join us for a full day of fresh, engaging repertoire and practical teaching approaches for the studio and classroom.
Discover new musical materials that spark ideas, broaden resources, and support the day to day realities of music teaching.

Conference Highlights

This year’s program begins with a strong spotlight on the newly released
AMEB Piano Series 19, led by keynote presenter
Angela Turner (QLD).

Keynote focus: AMEB Piano Series 19

  • Development of the series and what’s new across the grade books
  • Repertoire demonstrations across all grades
  • Student masterclass featuring interpretive and pedagogical approaches

Complementing this, Joanne Burrows (NSW), Head of Piano and Music Craft at the Riverina Conservatorium of Music,
will present practical repertoire based strategies for sight reading, musicianship, and ensemble playing.

The George Pearce Oration will be delivered by Dr Debra Andreacchio PhD.

Morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea included.
