Dear MTASA members,
One of our members, Lillian Fung is fighting cancer at the moment.
Lillian Fung received her Diploma in Education and Bachelor of Music Degree in Performance from the University of Adelaide, studying with Clemens Leske. She was then accepted into the postgraduate programme at Westminster College, Princeton, New Jersey, USA, where she received her Masters in Music Performance and Pedagogy, studying with Frances Clark and Louise Goss (creator of the method books The Music Tree). After graduation Lillian returned to South Australia and was a Classroom Music Teacher at Maranatha Christian School and Westminster School. She is a Group and Private Instrumental Teacher in the Junior Access Program at the Elder Conservatorium and is an AMEB examiner. Lillian has been an Instrumental Teacher (R-12) and Accompanist at Seymour College for the last seven years and an Instrumental Teacher in her private studio for the last 25 years.
Most recently, Lillian presented “Advantage of Group Teaching” at our 2017 Summer Professional Development Day. We are sure everyone who came and listed to her presentation was inspired and energised.
If you could help, we’d be very grateful.
